The Just Imagine Project

The Just Imagine Project

This project started earlier this year when WWF & Attenborough Film launched a competition for artists in the UK to take inspiration from the David Attenborough film: A Life On Our Planet. This original call-out inspired 650 creative responses.

The artist's brief was to imagine a future where people and nature can thrive in harmony. What would our rebuilt future look like if we put nature at the heart of our decisions?

I resonated with the brief immediately and had even already started a similar project myself, so it seemed the perfect competition to enter. I was over the moon when I got the email to say I was 1 of 12 winners with my artwork called “The Golden Bridge To Renewal”.

It feels important to me to start conversations about how the future could be for the natural environment if we take action now. When it comes to topics of the environment it can often fill people with fear and worry.

Don’t get me wrong, these are very valid ways to feel and raising awareness about the devastating impacts is important.
But having a positive vision for where we want to go is also very important.

When we collectively have our minds set on what we want to achieve and what that future looks like, great things can happen. It is still very possible that humanity has a beautiful future here on this planet.

That is what this project is about. Helping people visualise what that future would look like.

So I invite you to sign up to the mailing list so you can receive updates on future events, new artwork releases and more updates.
