Ocean Currents (Unframed Print)
Ocean Currents (Unframed Print)
*Please note this is an unframed print. For framed or canvas options look through my other products.
This ocean print is a reproduction of my original mixed media artwork called “Ocean Currents” which was created using a variety of inks and paints.
I am someone who is in awe of nature. I am very passionate about looking after the planet and being grateful for the amazing planet we live on. This artwork was inspired by David Attenborough's documentary “A Life On Our Planet” and the ocean currents which carry plankton and life around our planet.
This artwork is perfect to bring a sense of the ocean into your home and brings peaceful positive energy. It is abstract and is a mix of blues, greens, turquoise, and gold. The prints are a matte finish which looks even more beautiful in real life than in photos! They are a beautiful quality print and look best when framed with a white mount.
Museum-quality art print made on thick and durable matte art paper. Each print is giclée-printed on archival, acid-free paper that yields brilliant prints to brighten up any room. These prints could last a lifetime if well looked after.

Sustainability
It is really important to me that I do my bit for the planet. I am impressed with the effort my print partner make to continually improve their sustainability. My request if you buy one of my artworks is this - please look after it for a long time :)
- All the packaging comes from recycled materials
- All products are printed on demand which ensures less waste
- Most orders are delivered in the same region they’re printed which helps with Co2 produced
My print provider has print centers around the world so international shipping to any country is easily available ensuring your artwork.

Framing your artwork
My personal preference for framing artwork is to use a white Mount as well as a frame. This really gives a wow factor to the artwork. It gives the artwork “breathing space’ so it stands out on the wall. You can get a simple single mount or a fancy layered mount. You can also frame without a mount.
You need the artwork to fit in the Mount and the Mount to fit in the frame. You want your mount aperture to be roughly around 1cm smaller in size than your print, so there is no gap.
Option 1 - Mid - High-end frames - Look if I have the option for this print to be framed. If I don’t see it you can email me because there are often custom options available. This will then be ready to hang.
Option 2 - Do it yourself - Low to mid-end frames - There are lots of lovely frames on Etsy! The Range also has good options for mounts and frames. You can also look at Ikea, eBay, or online frame companies like frame.
Option 3 - Mid to high-end frames - Go to your local framing company and they will mount and frame your print for you. Or use an online company like eframe. This is very easy to do and it will be ready to hang.

About The Artist
My name is Natalie Ellis and I am a UK-based artist who loves to live in different countries, snowboard, surf, wakeboard, kitesurf, and generally adventure! I also have a deep appreciation for what meditation and connecting to myself bring into my life. I have also been vegan for many years.
I feel very connected to the Earth and it feels important to me to put nature at the heart of my decisions. None of us are perfect but I do my best.
I have art collectors all over the world who have bought my original art and prints of my art, from places such as Australia, Hawaii, USA, Finland, Dubai, Germany, Switzerland, and many other countries.
In 2021 I won an art competition run by WWF and Attenborough Film called Just Imagine. The idea was to imagine what our future would look like if we put nature at the heart of our decisions. I went on to create many artworks for this series and exhibited them in Cirencester in the UK.
